I just purchased a new CX50 from Lou Fusz Mazda in St Louis. Did everything from internet, from finding the right car to negotiating a price to negotiating trade in value. Then when I drove to make the purchase everything was in order. I got a 2023 CX50 Turbo in Zircon Sand color, with cargo cover and mats as only options. Paid MSRP of $39,405 plus $350 admin fee. They gave me a fair trade on my 2016 Ford Edge Sport. At the dealer the car was there, just did the paperwork, declined all the after sale options (which were very expensive), transferred my items from old to new car and drove home with full tank of gas. Got 27mpg on the 388 miles home (based on miles traveled and gallons to fill tank), half of which had small tailwind, half of trip was into a 25mph NW headwind. But trip summary showed only 23.6. Usually these read high, not low. Love the Terracotta interior, but Entertainment system controls are tough to figure out. Seats are a little bit hard, but should age well. Maybe the best looking car I've ever owned, and I've owned many. I looked at Meridian, but same as Turbo but has decals and different tires for $3k more. Not a good deal in my mind. Want to get aftermarket nav sd card next, then WeatherTech liners. We'll see how this works out.
