Hard shift
2023 CX50- I was driving down the freeway in med traffic and I was slowing to change lanes when the car hard shifted up and felt like someone hit the rear of my car. At the time I was changing lanes and slightly applied pedal to get in next lane over. Anyone have this issue?

Not a normal operational sound ...... but if it only happened once then there will be a high unlikelihood of finding the cause.
Your Mazda should s still be (you need to confirm) under WARRANTY.. That sound if it continues should be looked at by MAZDA.
If not under WARRANTY then fine a service shop with a qualified certified Automotive Mechanic or Technician only.
Not a general mechanic!!!!!
