Brand New CX-50 Hybrid Rear Seat Damages After a Month
Hello everyone, I’d like to know if this can be covered under warranty or there is a way I can do DIY repair. It’s very strange that no one sat in the rear and I didn’t put anything, wonder where this wrinkle in the first pic and fade/stain in the second pic (that spot’s texture is stiff) come from and how they happened. Thank you.

Honestly it to important to DIY . I can only speculate what happened but you really should go to your dealer that you purchased the NEW Mazda and use the warranty.
Not sure about the *compression marks as how they got in your seats but that discoloration if that’s what we call it is definitely a concern when it so new.
*I get those occasionally but it from and object not just naturally occurring. I apply leather treatment and after a day with warm tempreture they go away
This has gone on for me since 2018 I have Panther leather seat material.

Thank you, may I ask recommendation of leather cleaner? For compression, guess I will browse around how to fix it. Regardless, I should reach out to dealer first.

It will work for both issues to some degree. See leather conditioners treatment
