Wheel size, dimensions, bolt pattern, back spacing, etc?

wheel size is printed on your sidewall
width and offset are most likely cast in to the inside of the rim. Just take one wheel off and post your findings for everyone else.
A simple search found this on another mazda forum

So pretty much any wheel that will fit a current 3, 5 or 6 series Mazda will also fit the CX-5. Way to keep it simple, Mazda.
Basic specs are:
7" wheel (additional width's to be determined; )
5x 114.3mm (4-1/2") bolt pattern;
+50mm offset; and
a 67.1mm center bore.

Got some pictures?
In most cases i am not a big fan of black wheels. They tend to disappear on most finishes. But as you can see from my sig pic I do like graphite colored wheels. Still not "exciting," but they are easier to see and hide brake dust extremely well. So that would be my vote.
We are lucky in that it is possible for even the most artfully challenged among us to use computer programs such as PhotoShop before making mistakes that are hard to undo. I use it for such things to get an idea if I would actually like the look, and/or would fit in with the rest of my scheme. You might possibly use it to get a sense of what the car will "feel" like w/black or graphite colored wheels.
*edit* For reference, here's one I did of my factory wheels some years ago.
The center cap and calipers/decals are real. The spokes are PSed.
And here's the whole car as I had envisioned the wheels to look on it:
PhotoShop is our friend.

Later, I will see if I can find a pic of red CX-5 w/black 19's. Mine is white for plenty of contrast. Pictures rarely are of adequate quality to show this kind of wheel very well, they often look better in person. Pictures often make the wheel blur with the tire.
My Lexus IS has staggered black wheels (19x8.5/9.5) w/polished lips, body color is a dark SGM (smoky granite mica metallic) but polished lips on a sport sedan with more factory polished trim around window area is a different look compared to CX-5. The deeper/bigger lip rear wheels standout.
Black or graphite wheels will complement CX-5's heavier than usual use of black/dark trim. The CX-5 has piano black trim on upper grill, black trim on all window pillars, and dark tint on all windows except windshield (I added 35% tint to my fronts). Also lots of flat black trim on fender lips, front grill, fog light grills, lower front valence, lower rear valence and lower sills. (Only bright trim is logos front and rear, dual exhaust tips, plus my GT {copyrighted Ford Mustang GT} rear license plate frame).
