What if Mazda made a Porsche Cayenne type of vehicle
It's doubtful any manufacturer is going to do anymore designing of "new" fossil fueled vehicles.
Like it or not, electric vehicles are the future.
Porsche is already doing so, and Ferrari is putting out their first electric supercar on October 9th of this year.

and the resasons have little to do with horsepower- Porsche boxter S - is also in that catagory - yet Porsche makes vehicles with much much more power that never make the list - and boxster was at launch the least expensive Porsche - still may be ?

I also look at stock market and saw a steady increase in several stocks directly related to fossil fuels and fossil fueled vehicles that will have an effect on the market for at least several years. Then there are the aftermarket parts manufactures that will be starting to reopen here in the us and their parts distribution is according to counterman magazine 99.5% of the market having to do with gas or diesel vehicles.
As well while I really dislike EVERYTHING about a Tesla, I still stay informed, I belong to 2 Tesla forums as a nonparticipant just to read and learn. There are more threads about issue second only to threads about mods to do with them. Let me say that if you are a owner of a tesla doesn't expect should it break down to be able to even call AAA depending on where and how your tesla stopped working or you were in an accident. Most all independent towing companies will not tow a tesla.
anyway, my friend fear not gas vehicle's may decline in the many years ahead but nowhere near what was suggested.
Even The Jetson car was not electric.... rolmao
Agreed. Porsche and BMW have both said they will keep making ICE cars for the forseeable future. I suspect Mazda will also do this. Hybrids are the best option IMHO as they have better economy, but still allow for ICE's range by being able to fuel up anywhere you want in minutes..

Agreed, but for the purposes of this discussion I think we are referring to US models. I mean, they still sell an ancient Nissan Frontier in Mexico along with the new model but they would never sell it in the US....
I am sworn to secrecy LOLThe other thing is unlike all or most of say 95% of this forum members do not read the periodical I do having to do with the automotive industry as a whole. Why would you all you are not in the business i.e., parts manufacture, parts distribution parts developer, marketing & advertising and more or less my now hobby service.
I like this thread because it reminds me of a "SMOLT"
and I also like the members that are participating and what has been responded about the thread's topic. I just am a bit more vocal when it comes to how I feel about electric vehicles and that's it and that post is all I have to say about that on this thread.
