2021 GT AWD with PP. I have wireless Android Auto set up (through a third party dongle). But sometimes, I want to give a voice command to the Mazda Nav system (so it shows up on the HUD). But whenever I press the talk button, even with the car's nav screen up, it takes me to Android Auto. Is there a way around this?

 

Yes, use cable in stead of dongle.

 

Does that work? I use a cable in my car and voice commands control AA when it is hooked up. I haven't tried holding the home button to switch to the in car system from AA. Maybe that would work and then switch back when you are done? Definitely not the most elegant solution.

 

The voice cmd fails always when driving, so what use it. It never finds the address. 2021 cx 5.
