Default USB Ports

2023 CX5 Carbon Edition here. I noticed that USB ports in the front center console remain on when the car is turned off. I recently purchased a wireless Android Auto dongle, but my concern is that with the dongle left in, it will drain the battery when the car is off. Yes, I can replug the dongle when getting back in the car, but that kind of defeats the purpose of wireless Android auto feature (connecting automatically when getting back into the vehicle).

Is there any way to have the front USB ports shut off automatically with the car?

They do automatically shut off after like 30 seconds or so. You can see it for yourself if you use carplay by plugging in your phone and turning the car off. Your phone will stay charging for only a little bit and then it will stop charging automatically since the power gets cut off to the USB ports.

2023 CX-5 Turbo bought in January. I have the Motorola MA1 and leave it plugged in all the time and have had no issues with it.
