I got a new 2025 CX-5 Turbo Signature. I have noticed that the TSR is not working (never worked since I got the car). I don’t even see the setting to enable/disable it and I have explored all menu options in the console. Based on what I read in the manual, TSR displays the signs based on what Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) detect “or” what it gets from the navigation system.


The vehicle didn’t come with a navigation SD card- maybe it’s not a standard in 2025.


Is a navigation card still required for TSC to work? I think ideally it should still display whatever traffic signs are detected by FSC. Any 2025 owners please confirm.


Below is the copy paste from online manual for 2025 CX-5.

"The TSR helps prevent the driver from overlooking traffic signs, and provides support for safer driving by displaying traffic signs on the active driving display which are recognized by the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) or recorded in the navigation system while the vehicle is driven."

 

The TSR only works with NAV and the SD card.
Otherwise, the camera has no software to "see" the signs.

 

Even when navigating using google maps via android auto or apple car play or when not using navigation at all? I wish the manual said that clearly. Anyway do you know if turbo premium comes with navigation card included?

I just got a 2025 CX-5 T Signature. It had a card, and I think it was supposed to have one. I think I saw that somewhere.

 

The Turbo Premium is not listed, the navigation system comes only on the following models:
2.5 Turbo Signature and NA Signature

 

I thought the Signature was the only one that came with the SD card as standard equipment? Did you ask your dealer about this? Maybe they forgot to give it to you.
