Hi everyone. Just bought cx5 gt turbo 4weelsdrive. Love it. Just one question : using navigation for a destination , is there a way to stop
the instructions when you reach a place when you know where you are? The only way I found is forget the destination but that's not what I want. Just want to stop the itinirary. Thanks

 

There has to be a"Cancel Route" option. What about using voice control to get it to stop? My SD card is en route so I can't try mine out yet.

last time I tried cancel , it erased my destination ( my home ) and I had to re enter home. I dont want to erase a destination just to stop
the directions. Did not find a cancel ! Also , tried every word I know, stop , cancel...
Guess my next visit to the dealer will gave me an answer.
It happened when I was far from home and did not know my way home. Used the navigation for a while and when I knew where I was , wanted to stop the directions The only way I found was cancel destination and that erased home!

That is really strange. Can't imagine why that would happen. I will try with mine once I receive the nav card.

On my older vehicle, I've used Cancel Route as a voice command and there was also a Cancel Route option on the screen menu.
