Default In-Tank Fuel Pump 2016 CX-5 AWD

Long story but here's the jest. My neighbour has a 2016 CX-5 2.0 gas AWD. Having drivability issues(hard starting and stalling randomly). Took it to a garage and they said the fuel sensor was bad and they would only use OEM parts and Mazda doesn't sell just the sensor so they installed the complete fuel manifold as well as the HP fuel line from the pump as they said it was leaking. Billed her 1000.00. She drives home (maybe 2 kms) and the CEL comes on. Takes it back and they scan it telling her it needs a cat and to go to the dealer! Brings car home. I scan it and get P0421 and P0087. I suspect it's the in-tank LP pump or pressure regulator as she's got the P0087 Low Pressure code and this is causing a slow warm up of the cat and throwing the P0421 code.

Looking online at RockAuto they list 2 different Dephi pump modules FG1651(FWD) and FG1652(AWD) but both are cross referenced to Mazda PE1A-13-35-X fuel pump compatibility? And online there are a bunch of cheaper aftermarket pumps.
Is there a difference in the 2 pumps? FWD VS AWD?

Does anyone have a good experience with cheaper aftermarket pumps?

Thanks

BWJ - Thanks for the file. There is a reference to a transfer jet pump that's for AWD only. I went ahead and bought the FG1652 pump from RockAuto it arrived today. I will be installing it tomorrow. I will update.

For the actual electric pump itself there's probably no difference, however the fuel pump assembly/housing is definitely different between 2wd & AWD.
