Default Stiff ride on CX-5 GT

I recently drove my brother's new 2019 Mazda CX-5 and noticed that the ride was very stiff. I could feel the road under me and every time we went over a speed bump everyone bounced in their seats. Has anyone else experiences anything like this or have any recommendations on what we can do to get a smoother ride?

Check the tire pressures. They inflate the tires up high for the ocean voyage. The dealer is supposed to adjust them back down.

Thank you for the reply, I checked the tires and they're at 35 which is the recommended for the CX 5.

So ridiculous.
I just went through this for my first 2 days.
Ride was horrendous.
Went back to dealer and tires were at 50.
Adjusted to 35 and it's like a new car.

The CX5 has a sportier suspension than most of the other crossovers. Some like this, some don't. It does handle better than most of the others. If your brother's has the 19" wheels, switching to 17" wheels would make the ride smoother because of the additional tire sidewall. The effect on handling won't be extreme and the smaller wheels also are better protected from damage from potholes - they just don't look as cool.

Yea, that's what I've been reading & definitely sticking with the 19s. Thanks for the informative reply!
