Remote start not working with key fob
I have a 2018 cx 5 GT AWD. before i changed both fob batteries my remotes started the car. Afterwards the remotes would not start car, but will unlock and the push button did start.
is there a reset program or key location for auxillary. anyone know.?
BTW -this cx 5 yr and remote does not come with the battery safe mode feature!!

There is no special reset program for a FOB battery change that I am aware of.
The remote stater is option for the CX-5 it is not a standard feature, and you don't say if it's a Mazda or aftermarket product.
A new FOB battery does not necessarily mean they are "good batteries".
I would try another new set of batteries.
