Default Mazda CX-5 - turbo or supercharger
Hey all, we picked up our brand new cx5 got 2017. We love the car but it’s lacking any usable torque. Has anyone here or seen a turbo kit or supercharge kit in development? The petrol engine needs another 50kw and 150nm and it would be an amazing car.

In the US, the CX-9 and upper trim levels of the Mazeda 6 come standard with a turbo version of the 2.5 litre gas engine (specifically tuned for torque rather than horsepower).
But if you're looking for torque in the CX-5, why didn't you buy one with a diesel???

Aaron, did you buy a 2.0 or 2.5?

They have plenty of get up & go.

If you don't like it, why did you buy it?

We got the 2.5 petrol auto. And I bought it because they car is awesome in every other aspect.
