My Mazda Cx5 Connect App is expiring after 2 years. I did not know it cost so much to renew. Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternative.
App opens, closes doors and starts car and lights .

When mine expires I will let it go, To me it's not worth that kind of cost and I think I have used it twice since I bought the car.

 

And I thought Jeep was expensive.

 

I figured out where my dealer lied I was told it would be $10 a month

 

A bit high for the service, but a lot more reasonable.

 

My dealer lead me to think App was free. And now we will have to pay for maps also which are grossly old and out of date yearly after 3 or is it 4 years.

 

My 2014 uses the Tom Tom maps. I get four updates annually for $79. That's a lot better than the Jeep which gives you one map update every one to two years for $150 a pop. While these have many more features, I sometimes miss my portable Garmin with lifetime free map updates, but it bit the dust last year after about 20 years of service. I always took it along as a backup in case something went wrong with the car navigation systems.
