i have a new 4runner now and need to do a downgrade, i dont need a 55k vehicle and camry/rav4 quality besides the engine is like a tin can on wheels and mazda quality seems to be a step up.
thanks guys!!

I've got a 2016 and t's been a good car and trouble free. The navigation on mine stinks but I think later versions are better. I'm pushing 90K on mine and am looking to sell it and replace it with a newer one when the over priced market cools a bit. It's done everything I've asked of it and fortunately, I haven't gotten any tickets. I'm not a fan of turbos as I see so many fail. It's just added complexity the car doesn't need. The 2.5 NA engine is just fine for my "spirited" driving style.

Same here as far as our CX-5s go. My girlfriend and I test drove a Sportage and boy was that a disappointment. It was so slow it couldn't even pick up enough speed to get on the highway. It has a crappy engine along with the rest of Kia and Hyundai's numerous lawsuits and engine replacements. The CX-5 that my girlfriend's sister has been put through hell and back and is still going strong after like 5 years and almost 100k miles. That's what led her to getting a CX-5, and then I followed when I couldn't get a pickup truck for a good deal. Kia is more on the lines of Chevy in terms of build quality and reliability...

I drive a 2022, and have had no problems so far. Heat works fine for our temperatures in Michigan. Very solid car so far.

I am very pleased with my 2023, Premium Plus in Soul Red Crystal Metallic. I hit 2,222 miles today and have owned the automobile since July 15th.

Default 2023 carbon edition

Hi I just bought a 2023 cx5 carbon edition. Red leather a must. It’s almost burgundy in person. So far I love it. Definitely stands out, and I think you get a lot for your money.
I do wish it had wireless Apple airplay and charging, but I can live without. I added the Mazda cargo cover too. It’s nice.
I paid about $1300 under MSRP in the San Francisco Bay Area. NOTE: Costco membership provided a $1260 discount. Awesome.
good luck
joseph
