Hoping that dealers and manufacturers start to incentivize the sale of their cars as people are being priced out of the new car market. Used Mazdas are pretty close to the value of new cars with higher finance rates.

Depends on where you are and who you deal with.
I was lucky I bought a used 2020 in 2021 with less than 10K miles, back when they were practically giving them away before the "shortage"...

Two days ago I bought a 2023 CX 5 Carbon with 1 mile on it in Everett WA, USA. $1500 under MSRP, 0.90% financing for 3 years. $200 doc fee and no other add ons. The dealer had 170 CX 5s on the lot. I love the car although the low(ish) profile tires and 19 inch wheels make for a slightly stiffer ride than my 74 year old body likes. Cheers.

I bought 2023 CX-5 Select for $500 under MSRP. Something like $29,400 or so. For a new car, that was a good price. It's a lot of vehicle for the money IMO compared to some of the other options out there.

You scored a great deal on a great car . Supply and demand in a free market is a beautiful thing.

Is anyone getting 6-8% off MSRP in the southeastern PA/NJ area withOUT having traded in a used vehicle? Please DM me if you can as I am getting really frustrated with dealers on pricing.

Cool

Mazda just had their second-best month ever for CX-5 sales. There is no reason for corporate to incentivize buyers with discounts or rebates - why would they? It’s a sellers market atm. Dealers do have the option to haggle, if a dealer has 170 CX-5s on his lot then he will be incentivized by inventory costs to move them off the lot by offering small discounts. BTW the best time to buy is the last few days of the month.

2023 cx5 carbon edition 4 miles. 500 military and 500 loyalty rebates. Also got additional 500 dealer discount. 299 doc fee. 31174 OTD minus taxes. paid 350 something for taxes when registering. I had a cx30 to trade in but they would only give me 19k. I contacted carvana and i sh-- u not they gave me 26574. Thats 2574 above the msrp i paid on the base model cx30. How they can make money on that i dont know. Anyway check carvana u might be suprised what they will buy your vehicle for,
