I've just got my hands on a JDM 2015 CX5 Limited. I was fishing around to replace the cabin filter and came across a module floating around. C920 V7 620 - which looks to be some sort of remote start system. I don't have a remote for it. Could be quite handy for the cold NZ winters to pre-heat the car.

Has anyone purchased a new remote for this setup and managed to get it running? Or come across a programming guide, so I can see if it's possible to even program a new remote without the dealership getting involved, with a system that was likely never available NZ New.

Perhaps you read the number wrong?
C930V7620A is the part number for the actual Mazda remote start.

I think i've got it right, the one you've found might be for US market or something I guess?

 

I found an image online (see below), which shows it's a remote starter, with the same numbers as your unit.
However, the only Mazda part #'s I could find for the remote are C930 V7 620 for the module and PZ170 02021 for the remote FOB.
When I typed in the entire group of numbers I got this
