Default Intermittently blowing grey/white smoke

Hi.. I have had my car for a while now and since I’ve had it, it blows smoke on tick over and sometimes tick over is uneven. It doesn’t always do it only sometimes. I have tried using the usual injector cleaners you put in the diesel fuel tank etc and it seems to improve it but would like to try and get to the bottom of the issue! The car does not loose any fluid or oil. Could this be a faulty injector/problem on the DPF system? I have previously taken it to a garage and it has behaved itself! There were no fault code’s showing in the history. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.. Rob

White Smoke is indicative of Coolant in the Cylinder. This can be Detected with a Bore scope through the Spark Plug holes or a Leak Down Test.

This is what I would want done. These diesel motors tend to have coolant issues a lot from what owners say online throughout the threads.

Sorry I missed the Diesel part. My solutions won't work with that.

Definitely still seems like a coolant related issue nonetheless. That's a good place to start checking.

Start checking? Where’s the best place to start? It does not loose any coolant at all. Fault is very intermittent with no warning lights on dash. Thanks..
