I have a 2019 CX5 Grand Touring and for some reason now I am not receiving incoming text messages nor can I send one using the hands free option to any contacts on my I Phone 8. The phone is up to date and notifications are turn on for both systems. Tried using my wife's phone which is also paired to the system but no luck. I can use the hands free option to make phone calls, plus I can receive phone calls with no issues I have rebooted the infotainment system and the phones sync up with no issues. The stereo and Sirus music works. I never touched anything prior to the issue. Obviously I must be missing something. Everything was working fine until a couple of weeks ago. Thank You.

 

A: What software level is your MZD at?
B: When was the MZD software last updated?

 

When we bought it in October the dealer said it was. How can I check it?

 

Go to the dealer and ask for the latest firmware.

 

If you access MZD, scroll all the way right to the last menu ( Settings), scroll down and select "About", select " Version Information" this will show your current version, it may be 56 or 59, or even 70?

not sure about the USA, but in my market we are up to version 70.00.335A
