He has a '24, not a '14. An easy way to know is - when you turn the ignition on, is the center of the cluster animated? If so, you have type A above. The other types have a mechanical speedometer with a real dial and needle.

In my market, the different grades have different instrument clusters.

2012 -2016 KE
Maxx,Maxx Sport & touring has type B
GT & Akera has type C
