What do you do or have done for a living - Mazda Forum - Mazda Enthusiast Forums
As for you not living in the USA it how you described something which is not typically done in the USA (yet).

Anyway back on topic ... what part of a Diagnostic code is not parts of the ECU programing?
And there is NOTHING that actually states a dealership said it was "normal?
If you would just SLOW DOWN and read what I post part of what I have posted is often times member will state what was told to them but rarely posting the actual service write up and completed invoice(personal information blacked out)? So that said and my experience on both forums as well in the real world tells me that the OP either misunderstood or was given poor information!

Care to tell us all what country you are from?
All I got from mazda was this

Ok s couple things.

The battery test results should not have shown your battery as GOOD? I would have it indecently checked form another sources that uses only Diagnostic battery testing equipment
Some of the information is pointing to checking all the connectors for those effected and also as I said the battery terminal and subsequent where they are connected to.
I would pursue checking on and getting a standard ECU flash with the most currently available soft where. This should hopefully in your area dealership be free? If not check pricing for a pass-through service at an intendent service shop.

This is really all I can contribute with the available information and beyond that it becomes they guessing game challenge which member "guessing" wins the solution. Your Mazda needs a real Automotive Technician to physically look at your specific issues.

Wow! ok then no comment on who that was that was assigned to look at your Mazda. Sorry that happened.
The only thing they hit good info on is your battery health. As I keep suggestion that you get properly load tested.

I would really like a professional to look at the car I totally agree. That's why I took it to mazda and they just seem to be fobbing me off.
I'm in the UK. Mazda have told me my car should now be fine after a couple of day and not to worry about anything as its totally normal for a car sat on the forecourt doing small journeys to have these problems and itll fix itself.
I'm sceptical about this.
I do have an independent garage I can trust.
what do they need to be looking for when I take it to them

Dude really your help is slowing down facts from fiction and needing to spend more time correcting your responses so it does not become more DIY internet none factual based information. 🤪
As a new member on this forum you have already shown to have less then the best or that matter factual information that could at least be varied with a little knowledgeable research.
At this point the way I see it you are struggling to win the guessing game of posting a solution by continually to post nonsense in hopes that I might grow tired of responding. Better rethink that strategy.
If I take interest in a thread to help someone not only to I stick around until there is a resolve but I baby sit by watching for distraction from other members like you that post Interesting and entertaining mostly to me … ( but I do see a few other long term member watching)at times comical information . 😎

It is a forum. There is NOTHING more than what people said.

Quite a rant, and i only explained to topic starter what P1200 means. Really i don't understand your goal here, please read carefully whole topic, there is no proposed "guessed" solution apart from official service manual strategy for P1200.
You repeatedly shower us with your quite impressive credentials, good for you. Please explain (please try to be concise, i'am struggling with your texts as it is) what is wrong with my posts. They, i must insist, contains ONLY official explanation and strategy for P1200. Nothing more. (maybe some offtopic, like right now, he he). Remember, it's a forum. I provided information, i did not urge OP to jump from a cliff.
If you think that OP does not have P1200, you could have said so in not so many words.
If you think that P1200 can be triggered by some other random electrical problem (battery?) other then long history of lean condition, i have to quit. Nothing to add.

First good start ruling out your battery! But why did/does it need charging? At rest it should have min.12.5 volts but a healthy battery should be rested @12.7 volts?

I would at this point request that a Certified factory trained Mazda technician or an ASE Master Automotive Technician look at your Mazda issues. You do have the right to request these from a dealership even though they are an independently owned business. Or you can go to an independent service shop but find one that employees ASE Mechanic and Auto Technicians. Generally they will have the qualified signage on their building ASE.

Your issues at this point are not going to be solve/resolved on any type of forum. It requires physical testing procedures.
