The extensive testing with alcohol fuels that I have personally conducted has shown my performance increases.
While 80 has definitely shown increased dyno chart peaks it pales in comparison compared with 100 or 151.
While the higher proof fuel is more expensive and offers a higher power return it also severely limits duration.
Often results in leaking, knocking, blow-by and potential a full decompression.
I've found 6 to 12 proof offers the best overall enhancement potential with minimal impact on "performance".
