For reasons unknown to me the SD card containing the GPS maps was missing from the 2016.5 CX-5 I bought last month. Thankfully I caught it and had a "Due Bill" written up for the dealer to make good on the missing feature. The card was installed this morning at the dealer (a Kia store 34 miles from my home). I set up the "Home" address and was guided home perfectly. My question is this - do I need to take the car to Mazda to have the system calibrated to make sure it's working at peak efficiency?

 

If its working & not playing up don't bother.

 

Fair enough. I will just use it. If it ever takes me to the wrong place then I will take it in. Thanks for your response!
