I know most dash lights only come on when a fault occurs but my point is, how do I know when AWD is operative. How would I know when it's inoperative? Does the system ever stay on when it shouldn't? I'll find when I go to the Mazda dealer. Regards from the UK.

 

mazda says the transmission fluid is a "lifetime" fluid and it shouldn't be changed

 

What is the definition of "Lifetime"?
Changing the oil is cheaper than changing the transmission.

 

I'll ask at the dealers. Can't be too difficult to change the fluid.
