Default Glow plug light. AWD light.

The glow plug light only flashes very briefly on turning the ignition on. When can I expect the AWD light to come? iStop hasn't worked yet either. Any advice or info would be very welcome. Regards from a new member. 2013 CX5.

If I've read the handbook correctly it mentions a FWD light. I would have thought it was meant to come on when power got sent to the rear wheels. All the snow here had gone by the time I got the car so no chance to try it then. Could perhaps find some wet grass!

The AWD light will only come on if there is a problem/error.

Thanks for your reply. How would I know if the AWD system is operating? Apart from the rear wheels spinning! I've noticed the handbook says some models have a light.

I've never seen the AWD light come on ( except for errors) in any AWD mazda I've worked on in the 12 yrs I've worked on Mazda's.

** I have not worked on Euro or American spec Mazdas**

I can't even see if there is an AWD light! At the right angle it can be possible to tell if a light symbol is there sometimes. I'll ask at the dealers. Many thanks for your advice. Regards from the UK.

I've seen the AWD light come on but only prior to starting the car. It stays on for a moment, along with all the other dash indicators, but then goes out.

Default Lights!

The handbook says some AWD models have a light. I've also noticed that the auto transmission oil isn't a normal checkable item.

A light that does what? I'm fairly certain that the light only comes on if a fault is detected in the system.
