Question Drain tubes -- clearing

I've got a 2016 CX-5 with a sunroof, and I want to clean the drain tubes to keep ahead of any minor build-up before blockage occurs.

Some questions:

1. Am assuming the sunroof's front drain tubes are easily accessed from above, at the front of the sunroof above the location of the A-pillars. Yes?

2. Is the basic recommended technique to simply use a thinner (~3/32") coated wire "rope" to go "fishing" from the top end of the drain tubes, to clear out minor blockage?

3. Is any "fishing" from the underside of the vehicle recommended, on the CX-5?

4. What about the two rear drain tubes? How are those accessed?

5. Some suggestions, out there, recommend mild compressed air through a small hose, though many others point out that even small amounts of pressure can cause disconnect of the drain tubes themselves. Thoughts?

6. What about checking and possible replacement of the rubber bits of the drain tubes? If these turn out to be hardened, loose, perhaps dry/cracked, I'd prefer to replace them prior to any leakage happening. Suggestions, with this?
