Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before as I'm struggling to use the search function on this forum. Anyhow, is there any way of turning the daytime running lights off?

Hi, as weird as this might sound, I'm just not a fan of the DRL. I understand it's a additional safety feature although not a legal requirement.

 

I do not believe it is an option in the CX-5. Interestingly, it is an option in the 2019 Mazda3. I found it in the set-up menu as an option and turned them off briefly when stuck in traffic this morning.

I suggest leaving them on. They add to the safety of the vehicle, especially if not all cars on the road in your area have them.
