Cx5 fuel octane recommendations
Come on by the shop and I will scope your cylinders and show you for free or take it to a shop and have it done. Please be honest and post the pictures.

Actually and technically speaking in your own signature you do and at least occasionally should be using higher octane fuels.

The slower reduction in carbon deposits forming in the combustion chambers, creates a better cylinder stabilized temperature to help keep the spark plugs cleaner, enables monitoring sensors reporting to the ECU so that the engine will run more efficiently and produce a higher power level, insuring that when loaded with passengers or cargo that the vehcle will better be able to continue to achieve predictable and usual MPG and power levels, protects under some engine speeds and operation the CAT from damage which reduces its effective life spam, indirectly influences lowering the combustion chamber temperature..... to name a few off the top of my head.

Ok so why are only repeating the basic information the OP that started this thread already did?
It really is obvious what you are doing.
My grandkids do this kind of stuff

Here is a better informational response that fits the threads topic and is empirically and fact based information!

Lets check of the 17 responses and ZERO threads started you show no credible supportive information that you are qualified as a Service Technician or trained mechanic or even working in the auto service
industry ? Hmmmm?? ok then L. But you sure are a trouble maker LOL

Using quality testing equipment can also verify this information through simple testing and data logging the ECU.

Not really but I understand you think you can. LOL

I know gasoline… and my post wasn’t cut/pasted.
Tell us more about premium gasoline enabling the vehicles sensors. The people riding around with disabled sensors burning 87 octane could benefit?
