And I'm constantly amazed by your arrogance.
I've reviewed my post and there's nothing false posted.
So my post stands.

First its not arrogance it is an education that cost me in the tens of thousands of dollars to get. And to keep some of my certification I need to pay and recertify every few years.
It is decades of hands on experience
It is actually engineering many parts on vehicles and many successfully and still sold world wide.
Arrogance well that would be you not seeing your errors like the oil filter thread question and also how could you find you own mistakes in this thread if you believe in your own mind that your infomration was correct, accurate and empirical in nature. LOL
Dude stop really .../

Nowq you and I are going way off topic and I may request at this point that a few responses even mine be removed. So try real hard stop now.. Please!

As you habit of wanting the last word of any discussion, you may have it.
Check your "educated" facts first next time.

People can use whatever oil and viscosity they want, but if it is not manufacturer specified they do so at their own risk.
I use Mazda spec for my location, and I don't burn a drop between changes.

I use a variety of qualified motor oil meeting at least MAZDA specifications, but I choose the viscosity based on the correct way to choose what to use. And anyone can visit my threads and see all the different moto oil brands as well viscosity I have used over the years and I can also say I don't burn any oil except like ALL with DI engines very small , hard to measure from the induction system via the PCV valve. No one do date is not effected by this. Don't kid yourself.
