I got a different light on mine.

 

I had a Mazda 3 with the 2.2d, it suffered catastrophic engine failure due to oil starvation. A new engine was fitted by Mazda under warranty.
70k miles later the oil light has started to flash again, I dropped the sump to find that the pickup filter was clogged up with crap..
Apparently talking to local Mazda dealer this is a common problem, and not a software problem but the fact is the filter gets clogged, oil starvation, engine goes pop....
