Question How to reset wrench/oil dashboard warning light?

I recently had my car serviced but they were unable to reset the Wrench/Oil (German manual calls it "Kraftstoff im Öl") dashboard light! Needless to say that I will not have it serviced there anymore, but in the meantime I would like to avoid having to go to another garage just to have the dash light reset.

Can someone here point me to how to reset the Wrench/Oil light myself?

Look in the Scheduled Maintenance section of the Owner's Handbook. Sorry. I don't have the German translation.

Hi BobCP3, we have our car settings in English (since we are English speaking) and I did try that, but that did not turn this warning light of.

What year car do you have?
Where in the world are you?
Was your car originally sold in your current country?
Have you rung your local Mazda Dealer?

Im going to assume the " Oil Data" Reset hasn't been carried out.

Never having worked on a 1.6 before, I think its time to contact Mazda.

The above comment isn't super helpful so I did more digging.
After a lot of searching I found this video:

Since this might be taken down in the years to come... Start with the ignition off, depress both brake and accelerator pedals, turn on ignition and see the oil/spanner symbol flashing, wait 20 seconds then turn off the ignition. When you turn it on again, the light should turn off with the rest of the Christmas tree.
