Default Bose Sound System

I recently replaced the battery in my 2016 CX-5 GT. After the new one was installed, my sound system plays at half the volume it did before battery replacement. In other words, I used to set volume around 10-12, but now I have to get up around 20 before sound is comfortably audible. After battery replacement, I didn't have to reset any other features, except collision avoidance and radio sounds, i.e., bass, treble, fader, etc. Any ideas of what happened or what I need to do to resume normal volume settings? Owners' manual is mute on this issue.

Is the sound a issue at idle or driving at speed?

What is your music source? If you're streaming from a phone, check the volume on your phone.

It does it with all music sources, AM, FM, thumb drives, etc. And doesn't make any difference whether car is moving or not. I have sound set on auto-volume adjust, but doesn't seem to make any difference either. Don't get me wrong, it's still working, it just puzzles me why, after the new battery, it requires higher sound level.
