I am going to be getting the fully loaded GT model with all opitions, just woundering what sound system it comes with and how is it?

 

Sorry also want to know who makes the system? Mazda?

 

The GT comes with the normal Mazda 3 sound system by Mazda, but you can get the Bose Sound system 7 speaker package including subwoofer and digital amplifier. I have this system in my SP23, it is amazing! Never heard such good sounding speakers in a car and the subwoofer definetly kicks!! Definetly get the package, or you will be dissapointed!

 

well it all depends on how much of an audiophile you are too. i'm pretty picky when it comes to having an amazing sound system. i do have the bose system in my car but from other sound systems i have had in other vehicles, i can easily notice the pros/cons of the system.

 

well I'm pretty sure if he's making a thread aksing aboutt he system he is a pretty picky guy. Any and all optional audio system for any car is always way better.

 

Like they said, how the system sounds is completely subjective. Most audio guru's hate bose systems because they're harder to replace piece by piece, and they just replace everything anyway. If you don't plan on upgrading anything, and are generally happy with OEM stereo/speakers then you'll most likely be happy with it. The sunroof in the GT trim comes with the bose, so that's what you'll be getting.

That package will give you a 6CD changer. Please note that the stereo you're getting doesn't play Mp3's. Lots of people recently have been expecting their changer to play Mp3's because their dealers think it can. Mazda does offer a 6CD/Mp3 player as an accessory, but you'll have to specifically order one if you want it. Just don't be expecting one automatically. Personally I'm happy with my 6CD, though I'd be happier with it if it would shuffle songs between CDs instead of just random on one disc.

The only other thing I'd like better is less vibration in the panels, but I plan on doing some sound deadening to fix that.

Go sit in one and listen to it. Your opinion is the one that counts here.
