Hello everyone)
a strange thing started happening a couple of days ago with our Mazda CX-5 (2019). When I start the engine, the car immediately gives 3 beeps three times (it goes like ‘beep-beep-beep…pause…beep-beep-beep…pause…beep-beep-beep). There’s nothing on the panel. After surfing the net, I tried changing batteries in the key, checking parktronics etc, but nothing helps.
It does not beep afterwards or on any other occasion, just three beeps three times immediately after starting the engine.
We are going to go to the service, but I’m going away for a week, and it would be nice to fix it in the meantime

Do you have front parking sensors? Dash cam? TPMS warning light?

 

Sound like liftgate issues.
When the vehicle is started it beeps three times continuously (slight pause between beeps) if it is not properly secure.
The beep sounds continue if the vehicle is being driven with the liftgate "open".
"open" meaning it is not fully locking because something is blocking it.
Could also mean issues with any of the liftgate mechanisms.

 

front parking censors - yes, read that the sound may come because they’re dirty, we cleaned them, and actually about a week ago we were in the carwash and the car was covered with wax, can it cause something?
Dash cam - yes, tpms warning light no

 

Read about it, nothing’s blocking the liftgate for sure, and it seems like it’s fully locked, although we’ll look into it more

 

This is a problem with the SOS module. After starting the engine, look at the ceiling, if you see red, then you need to replace the battery responsible for this module. Located under the multimedia buttons.
