Default 2024 cx-5 naturally aspirated with egr cooler

trying to get some perspective on the need for egr cooler on my 24 cx-5 carbon edition- is it the same setup on the turbo engine
does it mean it wont use vvt to control exhaust gas, does it need to be serviced and does it mean intake valves need more service?
lots of questions ...
i can't find much about it online....checked some mazda dealers online -put in part number and it says not for the car?
part number-px9r2030y

Does your car have a lot of miles? I wouldn't think a 24 would need any service for the EGR at this point.

Your question would need several full pages of engineering information... you need that on your Mazda plain and simple!

I should mention that keeping up and maybe getting service before the scheduled times Mazda has recommend would be in the end to your advantage. Once your warranty is up you will appreciate if you take this suggestion.
ALL diesels vehicles that come into the service shop are generally a 3rd more in service repair charges then a gas engine vehicle and most of them are from owner neglect !!!!!!!

As for finding the correct parts for your Mazda or any vehcle for that matter, contact the dealership parts department directly and have your VIN ready to give them. You will get the correct information and wont need to "guess" about what part is supposed to be or not on your vehcle!

yes,i agree...i'm that guy-will do service at half mileage ...mine is skyactive-g so not the diesel....i am looking for the reason behind the egr cooler when other n/a 24' cx-5 i have seen do not have it....i am getting the sense that mazda likes `including the consumers into their R/D department...parts shortage in 23-24 ...now in 25 certain trim levels do not have cylinder deactivation/,i-stop....i like mazda and if problems arise i will hope for quick and positive outcome from them
i looked into an extended warranty after finding the headlite assyembly is street priced at 1,250 but that for another thread
