Hello, Im upgrading to a 2023 CX5 Sport Design. I had bought a trailer hitch for my 2019 Signature that I bought and sold and was wondering if the same part number for either the Curt or Drawtite brand will work for the 2023? I had talked to the salesman and he said that the bumper on the 2023 is slightly different than the 2023. Thanks in advance.

 

They may be different. There is a different part number for the 22+ factory hitch, 00008ER06 vs 00008ER06B. Link to MazdaUSA parts does not work on this site for some reason, but you can search on Google.

The best thing would be to contact Curt or Drawtite directly, if you want to use an aftermarket hitch. Personally, I prefer the factory hitch to maintain maximum ground clearance.

I have a 23' with the factory installed 1" hitch, could send some pics of how its installed if that helps.
