Default 2021 Signature CX5 Passenger seat belt chime
the passenger seat belt alert goes off now without anyone sitting in the seat. Nothing on the seat.
anyone else have this happen?

By "go off" I assume you mean you get the alarm.
That's normally a sensor issue, I wouldn't mess with it.
You're under warranty take it in to your dealer and have them fix it.

Ensure you've not put anything on the seat that may fool sensor.

A seatbelt extension (e-bay) would stop the annoying buzzer. Not the 'best' correction, but do you really need a reminder to buckle the seatbelt?
