2018 CX-5 or 2023/2024 CX-5?

To better answer the turbo vs non turbo question, you really have to drive both and see what you think. Personally, having owned a '19 NA and 21 Turbo, I can tell you the difference is pretty remarkable. I wanted to go for the turbo in '19, but they weren't offering good lease terms at the time. When the finance rates were 0.9% in 21 it just made sense to upgrade.
You also get a much better infotainment set up in the '21 and up cars vs the '17 you have. Go drive a newer NA and turbo and see if it's worth it to you!

Couple things about comparing a Supercharged vs Turbocharged vs normally aspirated vehicles at a dealership regarding new models. The boosted engines will always seem more impressive on a test drive because of the physic of a boosted engine. The normally aspirated N/A is still like the boosted engine except the full potential of the engine will not be felt until it has properly been broken in. In the case of all new MAZDA is about 15-20k miles. At that time there is physically not as dramatic a difference between them in normal average daily driving.
The best way to get an idea about a boosted vehicle comparing a N/A is to rent each one for a few days and compare them to your everyday driving habits. While this might seem extreme IDK about most people but $25-35k+ is a lot of money to spend on a new vehicle and rental cars a couple hundred bucks to make sure you make a good, informed choice seems a well worth effort and small cost?
I am refereeing to none sport vehicles so please don't run to the rental agency and rent a Supercharged BOSS Mustang and N/A Mustang for comparison.

Hahahahahaha after joining all kinds of Automotive forums you're the first to notice. I just threw it in there since I take care of it and have driven it often over the last couple of years with my vehicles being sold and the last one that was totaled.

I have seen dozens of members list the current vehicles they own but not sold blown up or swapped in a river..
I never paid attention before but as Alexmed2002 is a forum friend I thought I would raze him a bit.
I have personally owned over 200+ vehicles so far in my lifetime even if I narrowed it down to say the last couple decades it would be about 15. I currently own 8
And then there are the motorcycles.... now only down to 4.
1/2 an airplane (shared ownership).
No submarines!
cell phone reception sucks today....same place as always but a little wind and dropped calls, and internet just stops...Must be aliens or Gremlins ?
