Hello, I need to replace my front grill because I hit a deer (or the deer hit me) at 35 MPH last Christmas eve. No major damage except for the front grill which has broken section that is to the left of the radar unit. Has anyone replaced a grill before? How difficult is it to DIY? Update: I don't have this problem anymore because I traded it in for a 2019 CX-5 GT on February 5, 2019.

 

Wow! That's a bargain. It shouldn't be that difficult, but it will require removing the front bumper valance from the back side. Do an internet search for bumper removal on a CX-5 and you'll at least come up with videos that explain the procedure on a gen 1 car if not your 2017.
