Default 2016 CX 5 Auto door lock

Hi All.

Need help with my newly bought CX 5. 2016 Mazda Cx 5 Active auto.

I can't seem to activate the auto door lock function, seeing that there is no lock/unlock switch anywhere. In the Mazda connect system there is only an option to delay the lock time but nothing happens. Any ideas how to activate?

It's all with the MZD system. Have you read your owners manual?

Thanks for the reply. I have gone through the manual, all instructions point to a process with the switch being on the driver door, I however do not have a switch. Some youtube post referred to a secret switch in front of the touch screen, but still nothing. I have tried the above process by locking the door with the aux key, still nothing. My MZD also does not list any other options to modify the locking process. Only a delay period which does nothing.

If in doubt visit your local Mazda dealership.

It looks like this is covered in pages 3-5 to 3-7 of the owners manual.

Not for the model without the lock switch on the driver door.

You have a 2016 CX-5 without lock switches on the door? I have a 2016.5 and it has two lock switches on the inside of the driver's door. One is electronic (push button near the power window controls which locks/unlocks ALL the doors) and one mechanical (just in front of the door handle used to open the door which only locks/unlocks the driver's door).

It might be something on the European vehicles. I've never seen one in the States without the switch on the door.
