2021 Mazda CX30 turbo...When opening the power liftgate loud clonk is heard. It seems like the power strut start opening the gate before the lock disengage. It does open and close normally otherwise. There's no issue at closing it. Any ideas? Over 60 000 kms so warranty is over.

I experience the same malfunction : A loud clonk when opening the rear trunk of my CX-30. Curiously it's not systematic . But I can not reproduce it on purpose.
Did you resolve your problem ?
