re-build part options
hey all, im gonna be spending my winter months re-building a 2.2L motor. and im wondering if there is any parts that i could find on the net or where iver to boost up the power a little bit. im looking for direct bolt in upgrades if u will. anything thats gonna bolt in in place of stock parts to bring in a little more power. say like better injectors or something along the lines of that.if u all know of any parts sites that might have parts for these trucks id love to know them and have a gander myself.would more then apreciate the input. thanks in advance!

RE: re-build part options
people have been doing turbo hybrid swaps lately using probe/mx6/626 GT turbo parts.
As for simple bolt on stuff try base probe/mx6 pistons. Cheap and proabably higher comp ratio.
You can have the block and or head milled for the same effect or more of it.
try a slight over bore especialy if you need to have the bores machined any way. Look around to see what people are using for larger pistons.
Check out the first gen section at mx6.com for more. I believe that the entire short block is interchangeable but the head is different so make sure the parts will fit.
Good luck.

well at 380000kms a.k.a. 203,000+ miles. its goin for a little touch up providing the block isnt cracked.
i dont have tons and tons of money to spend parts but its a good start and i do apreciate the ideas. this is gonna take lots of research so thank you and keep em coming.
