i'm looking into building a fully functional carPC for my vehicle. can any of you guys give me links and\or brands and models to good touchscreen monitors?

i saw one on ebay that was a dynamix 7" but it's not on there anymore.

where would be a good place to mount\put my touch screen if i don't have any, i guess you can say, wood working skills or part making\crafting skills to make my own bezels and stuf...

i have all the parts in mind i want to purchase for the guts of the PC but my main issue is the touch screen and where to put it and how to put it where i want it.

ive also seen a kit that puts the screen right in the middle of the climate controls but i can't find it anymore. hope the link helps with the brainstorming.

unfortuneatly though i was looking for something where i can mount just a touch screen, not really the all-in-on dvd motorized screens, cause i want to hook it up to a carpc setup that i plan to put either under the seat or in the trunk. although that kit may become useful for the screen do you know of any that replace the stereo with an in-dash 7" or 8" touch screen?

i've seen people do that and then put the stock stereo in the glove compartment

i think i found one after later looking at the link you gave me i did somewhat of a backtrack in that same category of products and found this.

my only thing now is how would i know what will fit this?
