I'm not sure if this is want you want. All mass air flow meters are basically the same. The air flap is connected to a shaft which turns a potentiometer. One lead is 12v, one is the wiper arm, and one is ground. As the air forces the flap open, the wiper arm moves up and down the carbon resister pad. To static check it; unplug the unit. connected a 1.5v battery to the high and ground pins. Put a volt meter on the wiper arm. As you open and close the flap, you should get smooth linear readings. Closed=0.1v just open=0.4v midway=.75v 3/4 open=1.12v wide open=1.45 If you have a bad spot, you'll see the voltage drop to zero as you pass over it. Classic symptoms of a bad mass air flow meter are; Cars starts and idles great. When try to give it some gas, it gags out until you take your foot off the petal. or It could show up as crapping out at a certain rpm. Runs great above and below 1,800, but bucks when you hit the 1,800 mark

B2600i Fuel Injection Testing

Look on there, it tells you what wires to check with a voltmeter and what proper readings should be. Been a while since I looked at that page, I need to add a picture diagram to make it a little easier.
