confused???

Default confused???

OK, here's the deal, my 86 b2000 is actting up, when im driving it will just die and sometimes start again. I have changed out the fuel pump, fuel filter, new gas tank, new starter coil, new egr valve..........grrrrr, the battery is good, what can it be??[:@]

Check the ignition switch, these do wear out often on these trucks, causing stalling at inopportune moments, and then can start right up again. Try jiggling the switch to see if you can "make it happen". I had to replace mine on my '88 B2200 a bunch of years ago, at well under 100K miles. After a few weeks, mine would crank the engine but only would stay started if the switch was turned exactly the right way.

thx man, i'll try that. just about everyhting on this truck is new, new motor, new carb, paint, ALOT OF NEW STUFF!! i hope this works.
