Unfortunately, I did not have any Rock Auto closeout wheel cylinders or brake shoes !!! I don't hoard spare parts like ABE/MeB2000 does, except for some choice parts like center cap for my 3-spoke metal steering wheel, cluster with tachometer, speaker grilles, dimmer switch wheels, parts from a partially-used combination switch, and trim parts.

Actually, about 20 years ago when I needed new tires, I bought a used/matching white spoke B2*00 SE wheel at a local parts yard and had one of my 14" used tires mounted on that. So I "parked" the baby spare then. But a few years ago a local guy I'd helped gave me a set of 15" B2600i 4WD wheels with decent tires on them, and I installed those on my B2200; but my spare is now 14" and a different size, so I figure that's for emergency use.

When I bought my 2004 Frontier in late 2011, it had a pair of 14" aftermarket wheels on it and two stock 15" wheels; when former owner Berea took the Frontier to Las Vegas to get married (not a quickie marriage, but that was equidistant for both families), they had a blowout near Wikieup AZ (population 140) and the local gas station had no 15" tire to fit but had a pair of used 14" 6-bolt wheels with tires, and they knew they couldn't drive to Las Vegas or even Kingman AZ on the baby spare, so they got those wheels/tires and continued on their way. So when I bought that truck I ended up with four 15" rims, two 14" rims, and the baby spare. So I have a smaller 14" spare for that vehicle too.

And the other of those 14" wheels I still have as spare on my 1998 Frontier. Unless the aftermarket 15" wheels my daughter bought for her 1998 Pathfinder to use temporarily have 15" tires on them and now function as spare tires for 2 of those 3 trucks.

But I do have the donut spares from all three trucks on the side of the house !!! Buying a donut spare to replace an old donut spare is quite expensive.

I like my 14" Nissan 8-spoke chromies with chrome hubcaps.

For the record: 6-hole Nissan wheels fit on a Mazda, but the converse is not true. Mazda has like 93mm center hole, Nissan has 100mm.

This is a fact. I just measured my Mazda and Nissan wheels this morning!

The brake warning light was the real clue this time, and there had been a slight pull to the right when braking. Note that 2 years ago when my right rear wheel cylinder leaked, I discovered that by a puddle on the garage floor; this time on the left, the leak had not progressed down to the ground, even though this time the brake shoes were trashed.

Interesting that my 1998 and 2004 Frontiers (XE models) do NOT have a float/sensor in the brake fluid reservoirs. So very interesting what some manufacturers decide to include in their baser models. Of course the '98 does not even have intermittent windshield wipers. The 2004 has a 3-position steering wheel height adjustment (which I never use), and neither had factory cruise control either. Both now have aftermarket cruise control, the '98 has the Audiovox unit previously in my B2200, and the 2004 has the newer version of that (Rostra). Both Frontiers have power steering and factory AC - which works great.
