Default Phantom 626 Problem

I have a 90 626 5 speed non turbo. It overheated on me yesterday, so today i checked: compression, fuel, spark, timing, etc. Cannot find any physical problems however it will not start, it will crank, but i have no earthly idea as to what the problem could be. If anyone has any insight to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
