mazda 626 (kf-ze engine)1993
hey people
i have a problem with my mazda the car start and then shutsdown.first i thought it was the sparkplugs.but i replaced all 6 of them.
still same problem than i romoved the plug of the airflow filter then start the car and the car started emediatly but raises very high cuz air flow system not working at that moment then when i plug it again the car shutsdown.so its devely a senser thats not function.lots of people told me that is hasn't got to be the airflow sensor could be other senser that works together with airflow sensor.
dos anybody here in the forum had this problem with there engine???

You disconnected the air flow sensor connector and the engine then started and continued to run untill you reconnected and then engine immediatly stalled? Also does the engine stall right after start up or does it run for awhile before stalling?

If that is the case then would definitely suspect the Mass Air Flow sensor as being at fault. It may be shorted out inside and grounding out the 5 volt reference signal from the PCM that this sensor and others need to operating correctly. If you have a DVOM there is a way to check this without just replacing the sensor.

ok babyheuy i have a dvom but how exactly do i measure this mas flow air sensor
the sensor it self got 5 leads one copper and 4 are alumina color
i went to several car repair center and they all want me to bring the car to scan the whole car good for them to make money for the scan only and that costs us 150 only for the scan. also the car dosn't drive so i cannot bring the car to scan.
maybe u can tell me how to measurre the sensor with my meter and what kinda readings the meter gots to read.
i'm a electronic repair man so i dont think it would be difficult for me if u tell me how to do this i never measured a flow sensor before.
dont know where to start

Try at the very top of the forum page where it says Mazda Parts Online. I went there and put in your year and model. They show one for $162.72. Sorry missed your post about how to check out the sensor but looks like you fiqured it out yourself. Where are you from anyway that none are available in your country?
