Mazda 626 1998 / Car chokes when shifting from idle to gear
Hello everyone! This my first post here. First of all, sorry for the english. I don't know how to explain the problems with the car in English.
My problem is that my car has been experiencing both LPG and gasoline for a while, choking and idling fluctuations when switching from idle to first gear as if there is no fuel going to the engine. Especially when you touch the gas, this problem arises. The problem seems to be relatively less when I increase the gas gradually.
After I had the wheel balancing done on the car, I was experiencing a misfire in 1st gear while taking off. That problem is gone and now this started. Could the two be linked?
What do you think is the problem? I had the vehicle checked by the mechanic in case the cylinder head gasket may have been burnt, but he told me there was no problem.
The problem with your engine is that you have set up for LPG (liquid Propane Gas). This means that someone that specializes in that system must determine why your LPG regulator is affecting both the LPG delivery and then gasoline?
You may also ask a mechanic to use a vacuum gauge to see how it is reacting if the engine will idle long enough for a sample reading.
