car wont start

Default car wont start

mazda 626 2.0L automatic... when i turn the key the car clicks but wont turn over... its not the battery so im thinking its wireing of some sort.. probably the wireign to the starter... does anyone have a wireing diagram or could maybe help me out ??

I'd double check your battery/charging system. A clicking noise when turning over is 99% of the time a dead battery. I guess it depends on the clicking noise you are hearing, though, if it is a really harsh sounding click it might be your starter is not engaging properly.

check your cables make sure they are snug and clean on the battery side and see if you have a bad ground on the motor side

nah i think its a short or a bad ground somewhere... cuz whenever i try to start the car i have to play with the wires under the hood to get a connection and then when i try to start it , it shorts out!!!!
